Mission

The laboratory team aims to do research in various aspects of atmospheric geophysical sciences as well as its interaction with the social environment. With close contact with undergraduate and graduate students.

Research Areas:

  1. Atmospheric Remote Sensing in the Thermal Infrared

Using hyperspectral instruments (AIRS, IASI, CrIS) to perform trace gases atmospherica retrieval.

  1. Surface Remote Sensing

Using moderately to high spatial resolution visible/near IR instruments (LandSAT, MODIS) to perform land use and land change analysis.

  1. Air Quality

Using model simulation and field trips to evaluate the impacts of air quality in urban areas.
